About Blue House

Blue House is an anniversary event site that bring audiences to a virtual space where they can come back every week to check out different event rooms that happens within a month.

The lobby houses three unique rooms that focuses on different themes, and opens up one by one.

The three rooms:

  1. Dressing room: You can try out the newly launched clothing line and style it as you wish.

  2. Gallery: The brand collaborated with an artist to hold a virtual gallery, users can easily shop their merchandise at the end of the gallery.

  3. Outer-space: There’s a tavern in a outer-space desert with people drinking and chilling, showcasing the new clothing line of MN.

Spatial Design

The lobby is designed to be welcoming, modern and balancing out with a bit of industrial touch. Users can navigate to different spot in the lobby freely.

The visual language is converted in a similar way in the dressing room and the gallery. The dressing room feel like someone’s home, so people can change into different outfits in a comfortable and non distracting background.

Different from the lobby, the gallery navigates horizontally so people are always facing the wall to look at the art. Different textures and wall arrangements are designed to create a sense of depth. At last, the merchandises are displayed in a n unconventional way.

In the outer-space room, I wanted audiences feel like they are transported into a complete different planet. The light and the space are completely different from the other rooms, audiences can experience something that they’ve never been through in actual spaces.

UI

The menu is designed to be black to give users a hint of unrealistic space, also provides necessary features like screenshot to always be in the screen. Different icons are designed to let users navigate easily without interrupting the image.
