The Origami Chair investigates the tension between flatness and volume. It holds the visual clarity of a two-dimensional shape while existing as a fully three dimensional object. The entire piece is formed from a single rectangle. Through precise folds, the flat surface becomes structure without losing its geometric origin. A structural dowel anchors the form and is wrapped in folded fabric inspired by origami techniques. This textile layer introduces softness and allows the design to expand through variations in fold patterns and color combinations, making each piece adaptable while preserving its core geometry.
